Noon

Around noon today we are flying to Texas. I packed all my things and put them in a bigger suitcase than I need because it is easier to check bags than carry-on, but I couldn't decide on just one book, so I'm bringing three...in a carry-on. I filled up my nalgene to take along, but that's illegal now.

We are stopping by Nashville on the way to Tx. Sprawl is more depressing from the air than from the ground, and fields shouldn't be as square as they are. No wonder people thought the earth was flat, they still farm as if it is.

We'll be in Texas for a week. When we get back there'll be exactly five weeks left until the wedding.

I woke up this earlier so I could go get breakfast, but no place is open until six.

My alarm clock is analog with a little "alarm hand" that is too short to be precise, and I think I woke up at like 4:42.
